The Bricklayer - Maple and Cherry

For me, this cutting board was all about transformation, as it was really brought to life in the final stages. What began as a rather dull and understated pattern, it finally revealed its full depth once I applied the oil. All of a sudden, that dark red cherry and streaks of golden maple were pulled to the surface. In an instant, my mind flipped and this surprisingly became one of my favorite boards to date. Finished with a food-safe oil and homemade butcher block conditioner, this board is ready for its forever home right out of the box.
