Meet Your Seller
Hey all, I’m Faheem. I’m a woodworker based in the metro Atlanta area. I began woodworking in 2023 with a simple goal: to create custom picture frames for my own space. What started as a personal project quickly grew into a broader practice, and today my work includes cutting boards, charcuterie boards, boxes, tabletops, and coffee tables. My design philosophy is rooted in material led aesthetics. Rather than forcing a form, I allow the natural grain, live edge, and character of the wood to dictate the final design of any project. To achieve this, I utilize a blend of locally sourced Georgia hardwoods and premium, highly figured slabs from the Pacific Northwest, known for the scale and complexity required for heirloom quality furniture. If you’re interested in custom work or future projects, I’m happy to connect. Follow the process on Instagram: @faheem_woodworks

Oregon Myrtle Burl Island Accent Tray | Live Edge Serving Board Gift | Handmade Luxury Kitchen Centerpiece | One-of-a-Kind Burl Wood Decor
🍃 One Piece. No Copies.
There are beautiful serving boards, then there are pieces that become conversation starters.
This one began as an extraordinary Oregon Myrtle burl. The board contains dramatic swirling grain, natural live edges, and organic contours that only nature can create. Every curl, feather, and burl eye tells the story of decades of slow growth.
This piece was individually shaped, refined, sanded, and finished by hand to highlight the remarkable figure hidden inside the wood.
Whether displayed on a kitchen island, dining table, or coffee table, it serves equally well as functional serving ware and sculptural décor the owner will appreciate for
decades.

Oregon Myrtle is one of North America's most prized hardwoods.
When burl develops, the grain becomes wildly figured, producing intricate swirling patterns that cannot be reproduced in ordinary lumber. Every burl is completely unique.
Once it's gone, there will never be another exactly like this.
