Golden Spire is hand-carved from a single Central Texas cedar log, defined by a narrow vertical aperture that reveals the wood’s inner structure. The form emphasizes upward movement through proportion and contour rather than ornament, allowing the cedar’s natural grain and tonal variation to remain visually dominant. Light is introduced from above and directed downward through the central channel, activating warm amber tones and highlighting the cedar’s swirling grain. Subtle transitions between smooth, refined surfaces and natural texture reinforce the material’s character while maintaining a composed, architectural presence and highlighting its natural voids. Anchored by a brushed stainless-steel base, Golden Spire stands slender and resolved—grounded in material clarity and defined by restraint, verticality, and internal illumination.
