Hey all, I’m Faheem. I’m a woodworker based in the metro Atlanta area. I began woodworking in 2023 with a simple goal: to create custom picture frames for my own space. What started as a personal project quickly grew into a broader practice, and today my work includes cutting boards, charcuterie boards, boxes, tabletops, and coffee tables. My design philosophy is rooted in material led aesthetics. Rather than forcing a form, I allow the natural grain, live edge, and character of the wood to dictate the final design of any project. To achieve this, I utilize a blend of locally sourced Georgia hardwoods and premium, highly figured slabs from the Pacific Northwest, known for the scale and complexity required for heirloom quality furniture. Handcrafted solid Cherry accent table with sculpted Cherry wineglass legs
This side table is handcrafted from solid cherry and designed as a refined accent piece for living rooms, reading areas, or beside seating. The tabletop features a subtle roundover on the top edge and a 22.5° chamfer on the underside. The profiles give the piece a light, floating appearance while maintaining visual strength. The underside tapers cleanly into a sculpted cherry base inspired by classic wineglass designs: reinterpreted entirely in solid wood rather than steel. The result is a table that feels sleek and modern and balanced by the warmth and softness that only solid cherry provides. Built from solid cherry throughout, the table is sturdy, balanced, and finished to highlight the natural color and grain of the wood. Softened edges and the sculpted base contribute to a refined profile that feels intentional from every angle. This is a one-of-a-kind piece intended to age beautifully over time. The table measures 30 inches by 30 inches with a 1.75 inch thick top and stands 30 inches tall. Mounting hardware for attaching the base to the top is included, and free shipping is provided.
