This is a coffee table made utilizing pecky cypress wood, which is often used in high-end paneling projects. This wood has a very unique appearance derived from the elongated natural pockets and tunnels in the surface. It’s truly beautiful. The top of the table is much flatter than the sides with only smaller/minor pockets. The piece is finished in satin polyurethane so spills are easily wiped up. It has a light grey stain applied which gives it a gently weathered appearance. Please accept minor differences in appearance from the photograph as every piece of wood is unique.
