Built from a single slab of Bastogne walnut that survived a fire, standing in the Pacific Northwest for eighty to a hundred years. The char still runs along the crook of the wood — a record of what the tree lived through. Ten hand-cut ebony bow ties, five to a side, do the structural work. Finished with Rubio Monocoat European Oil, set on a custom curved steel base chosen to mirror the wood's own curves. One of one.
