Turquoise Coffee Table

Dimensions: 3' x 2' x 18" Materials: Various types of wood and colorants. Epoxy was used to facilitate the colors and add depth to the piece. I make each piece myself by hand. I construct the table itself. I carve and otherwise manipulate the surface. I add colors and epoxy using many different techniques. Multiple layers create the depth you see. No one may ever see it, but I finish the underside of the table as well. This may look like a heavy piece of Turquoise, but the table actually weighs about 30lbs. People don't believe it until they lift one end of the table. Each piece is one-of-one. A true piece of Functional Art.
